Burning up!

For the last week or so, I've noticed that I've been incredibly warm, to the point of sweating, even if I'm just sitting here in an air conditioned office. In talking with my trainer last night, I learned that this is a good thing, as it's a sign of my metabolism restoring itself from a slow churn.

Anyone else experience this after a reset? As I sit here uncomfortably warm, I can't help but smile the same smile I have the day after a brutal workout that's left me unable to lower myself to the toilet without clinging to the wall and bathtub, LOL

Who knew getting healthy would turn me into a masochist? LMAO!

YES! I just posted about this last week. It seems to be calming down a bit this week (maybe?), but for the past 3+ weeks I've had sweat just running down my arm when I was sitting doing nothing! Although it's in the 40s at night, I still turn on my a/c in my bedroom at night. I think it was Thursday night that I woke up in the middle of the night completely soaked with sweat. I was so relieved when Heybales suggested that it was my metabolism kicking in. I was getting so cranky because I'd sudden I'd just start sweating when I'd be getting ready for the day. I'd ask my husband, "what did you do to the air? It's SO hot in here!" I think he thought I was crazy... but like I said, I THINK it's calming down. I currently have my little space heater on by my feet in my office as I drink my ice water.
