how to do a reset

Hey guys, sorry to ask this question, but where can i find information on how to do a reset? I am trying to lose at the moment but my metabolism is mixed up and instead of losing at the moment I am just maintaining.
Can anyone give me some advice?
I am eating about 1200-1400 calories a day, exercise frequently and mostly eat back my exercise calories.. I am 5.4 ft and weigh 136 pounds, would like to go back down to 121 pounds where i have been before and felt very comfortable.
