Beware: whitewater rafting can hurt.

Sure, it seems harmless enough. You have your life vest, you are floating along enjoying the ride, and then WHAM! You crash into another raft and jam your fingers. That's right, plural. As in "more than one". Since that tragic accident, which was several months ago, I have been ordered to not do pullups, or play on my climbing rope, or do push-ups. I even have to use a strap when lifting. I don't just mean when doing deadlifts, but also when performing kroc rows. Do you have any idea how humiliating that is? I have to use a strap to hold up a 45 lb dumbbell, but only with one hand. As a result, I'm going to end up with uneven grip strength, which will probably lead to further injury.

Don't even get me started on the dangers of hiking and trail running. I'm lucky to still be alive.
