Cincinnati Ghost Tour Experience

So my partner bought us tickets through Groupon to go on the Cincinnati Ghost Tour, which right away I kind of rolled my eyes at and figured it'd be fun if nothing else. We're both pretty hardcore skeptics and atheists but figured we could have a few drinks and take this tour and get a good laugh or 2. So the tour went through a few different spots in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, which is a recovering part of historic Cincinnati where the white suburbanites avoid because 10-20 years ago it was a terrible place to be. So they took us around telling a couple stories of murders and cholera epidemics and stuff which was all fairly tame and the history was ok. Then they took us to an old tenement building, which to be honest was a run down historic building in need of some severe TLC. After telling us how in the 90s this place was overrun with druggies, etc (nothing more scary to middle class white Americans than drug users in the ghetto), they took us to the courtyard of this place and started trying to do the "flashlight trick" to summon a ghost named "Charles" who was a supposedly the ghost of a pimp who ran this building. Needless to say nothing happened and we all went home dumber for the experience. The end.
