Hi everyone,
I am 23 years old and have about 20 pounds to lose. I am 137 and would like to get to 120, then eat a local, clean diet and start some weight lifting. I feel like I need to get this fat off first. I am in the 2nd week of Brazil Butt Lift. I seriously see so much results from that workout. I know it sounds and looks a little cheesy, but it is legit a great workout! All of my weight is my thighs, hips, and butt, so it's perfect for my needs.
Today is my 4th day of Atkins induction. I have lost 3 pounds! That is great for me since the scale hasn't moved in forever. My smallest I was 126.0, but did not do that healthily at all.
My husband is totally against "Atkins diet". He is a weightlifting nut so he thinks I will die without carbs. I told him my friend was doing it to get his reaction, reaction was bad so I didn't mention it again. Last night as I was making deer steak and green beans for dinner he was like I hope you're not trying to do that Atkins diet.... blah blah blah. So I really haven't told anyone besides one girl I work with who is doing it too- but she's still not doing it right.
I hate the bad reaction everyone has about Atkins. I'm so sick of hearing it. Husband is determined that whatever people lose they gain right back if not double that. I am use to not listening to him, so it's not a huge deal, but still a down-er!
I have drank the cafe atkins shake. I NEEDED something sweet!
I didn't mention that I quit smoking cigs cold turkey on the 10th of October. Started the Brazil Butt Lift a few days before that, and now started Atkins. So my schedule is completely off.
There is a BBQ meat festival on the town square this weekend, so I'm hoping to go down and get some plain meat for dinner tonight. Already getting sick of eggs and bacon, have been sick of chicken, and have lived on beef my whole life. Meanwhile I'm sick of veggies too! So just have to get over it!
Have been having:
Breakfast: 1 boiled egg (deviled style w/ a dab of mayo) (farm eggs)
6 ounces bacon
Lunch: 2 cups lettuce, 1 cup spinach,1 tomato, 1/2 cup cucumber, boiled egg, 6oz bacon, 2 ounces cheddar cheese, 2 tbs Newmans Own oil & vinegar dressing
Dinner: 5-6 ounces beef (our farm raised) and 2 cups snapped green beans (frozen from farmers market)
It's getting OLD! but losing 3 pounds is very much an incentive! and Pinterest helps, looking at all the toned bodies!

Sounds like you are doing well! Don't be afraid to get creative with your meals, mfp makes it easy to log recipes. Eat as much real food as possible & make Atkins shakes & such a treat. Never mind what your husband says, you results will speak for themselves. Besides it's not no-carb it's LOW-carb.0

yeah thanks! I'm thinking of some soups or something for dinner.... and I forgot about ham, so can switch breakfast meat to that.0
