Food Hangovers

Does anybody else suffer from a "Food Hangover", the day after they've binged? If so, how do you deal with them?
Most of my binging will be done late night, when I wake up in the morning I feel really groggy/headache/flu like symptoms, which of course in turn makes me want to binge again. Mostly something sugary to make myself feel better, then the cycle starts again. It's a vicious circle. :grumble:

I can relate! "Food Hangovers" are the worst,
The next day after I binge I'm in a really bad mood, I'm sad and even depressed,
usually I have 0 motivation to start eating healthy again and I binge like for 3-4 days until I get completely sick,
my stomach usually hurts really bad too
And to be honest I have no idea how to deal with them! I wish I would!0 -
My belly hurts, like I've done a really intense abs workout (maybe in a messed up way I kind of have lol). I feel sluggish, bloated, sick and not up to doing much. Green tea and unprocessed food normally helps me to get back to normal0

OMIGOSH!!! I thought I was the only one who felt like it was a food hangover!! I told someone that thats how it feels the day after a binge and she looked at me with a raised eyebrow and slowly backed away..
I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! That is one of the things that I (try to) use to keep me from binging at night. I try to think of how I will feel the next day.. not good at all! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Its almost 3pm on our first day of No Binge November!!! How is everyone doing?? Hope all is well!!

And here I thought I coined the term of a food hangover! LOL
I had one not too long ago... oh man! I was a mess! I was groggy, felt sick to my stomach in EVERY kind of way, get the sweats and the chills... horrible.
I just toughed it out cuz I was at work. But when I got home I slept it off. I thought about taking a laxative but I decided I didn't want to deal with that. Lol.0 -
Nice to know I'm not the only one who has felt this way, and had alot of the same feelings as you all have.
I agree, it does work sometimes avoiding binges to think how you will feel the next day, others times the urge is just too overwhelming to care, lol0 -
love this - i also have food hangovers with belly pain, bloating, headache, depression, huge amounts of guilt. tea, patience, humor and distractions help me a ton...0
