So since the holiday season is coming, what are your plans to make it through the season with little to no weight gain?

Good question. I was talking to my trainer this morning and even though I was thinking about switching to her exercise class which meets twice a week instead of one on one, I think I may do both until the first of the year. It'll be expensive but I think I might need to do it. All I have to do is convince my husband that it's worth it................hahaha
Halloween will be no problem. I'll buy the candy the day of and give it all away. Thanksgiving, I'm cooking so won't eat much until leftovers the next day. That's my favorite part of Thanksgiving food wise, the day after. Christmas....................yikes. I make dozens and dozens of yummy cookies every year to give away. I'll have to really control myself to keep on track. I have a freezer in the garage, maybe I'll put them all out there after they're made to keep them out of sight. I don't even like them that much except right out of the oven. Skip dinner and go straight to dessert?0 -
I'm skipping the holiday meals with my family. I live alone and 5 hours away from my closest family so I'm playing the can't afford it card. I know nothing is promised to us and this could be a chance for me to see some members who might not be there next year, but for my mental and physical health I need to be away from them this year. So I got no plans just continue on working out and eating right.0

I plan on sticking to my work outs and will enjoy the food as long as it fits into my cals. I might have to workout a ton on certain days but the food will taste extra yummy. I will eat as healthy as possible before and after. I will take small portions of the yummy treats offered. Usually if I workout my hunger isn't as bad as strange as that might sound. Think it's subconscious I don't want to impede on all the hard work!!!0

I am planning to log on to MFP and stick as close to my 400 calories a day as I can and hopefully I will still lose even through the Holidays.
Even on days like Thanksgiving a little Turkey and veggies do not have that many calories and you can always fit in very small portions of pumkin pie filling with no crust.

Really hoping the "400 calories a day" is a typo for 1400.... :ohwell:0 -
