Hi all,

so glad to find this group! I am up to week 6 of the Couch To 5k, and have really been enjoying it. I am someone that has always HATED running - in fact I skipped school to avoid the complulsry cross-country run every year in high school!
But I have a two year old and a 5 month old and needed an exercise that didn't take forever and didn't require a gym. And I have really been surprised at how much I am enjoying it. I ran my first 20 mins on Sunday - something I didn't ever think I could do!

Anyway, looking forward to being part of this group.

    Hi!

I'm on Week 6 too - Did Day 1 on Monday, Day 2 is tomorrow.

I couldn't believe it when I got through the 20mins of Week 5 Day 3, but now I'm of the mindset that if I could do that, the rest of the programme should be no problem!

Only 3 more weeks to go, and then I'm moving straight onto the 10k programme!!!!

    Good luck with Week 6!

This was totally me. A good double running stroller is worth the investment!

Hi everyone! Thanks for the welcome.

Yep, Day 2 of Week 6 is tomorrow for me as well. I agree, the 20 min run has really upped my confidence - I NEVER thought I would be able to do that. Then yesterday doing a five min interval seemed so easy! Whereas a few weeks ago I was amazed I had managed a whole five minutes in a row.

vardaeml, I was wondering about running with the kids in a stroller (or pushchair as we say in New Zealand!). I only have a single as I usually wear my youngest in a carrier...but maybe I should give it a go with one of them at some point...

M&ms have bought me at least 2 runs.
