Weigh in...

Do we want a particular day for weigh in or do we just want to weigh in individually once a week on what ever day works for you? Since I am often in Grandbabyland on the weekend without a scale or easy way to log in, I prefer to avoid the weekends... and I would prefer to avoid Mondays in case they have added a lot of salt to the food they serve.
What is your preference?
Since I started at MFP last Saturday, I'll log my statistics today.
Original wt: 198
MFP starting weight: 184.2
Today's weight: 181.8
short term goal: 165.8 (10% MFP lost)
proudest achievment for the week: getting my foods logged and the exercise done
challenge of the week: I seem to have a bit of phlebitis in my left leg so have had to slack off the exercise for the last 2 days. It's doing better and if the swelling/pain is down tomorrow, I'll see if I can get my steps up again. At least it's not as hot and tender tonight as it has been.

Hi, Light,
My weigh-in day is Tuesday. I would say that I'll add stats on Tuesday, but I'm still having problems with my bugg, so it may be only weight. (I like to include avg. steps and avg. activity, as that keeps me thinking about those.)
As you know, my bugg has been working well some days, but not others. I was surprised that when I got home from an overnight trip and uploaded it last night that it seemed to have worked all day Saturday and all day Sunday without being plugged in even once. But then I left it in to charge for awhile, and when I came back to get it, it had a steady red light--not the flashing light indicating a weak battery. Another reloading of software and overnight charging did not solve the problem. So I guess I'll order the basic BodyMedia unit. With no bells and whistles, you can get one for $99. When I add what this one cost me a month, it was less than $4 per month for the unit and about $6 per month for the website. It has been worth lots more than 30 cents a day.
I was also surprised to see the Bodybugg Fan Club site still operating last night. I posted a quick goodbye and last thanks to Naniac, and when I checked this morning, I got the "oops" message. I'm a little sad to see that message board go. It felt like home base.
I see that Sheesh has not registered over here. I wonder if she's concerned about the public aspect of this board? I may e-mail here later today if I get a chance.
Hope you have a good week, and please take care of that leg. :-)

Good to see you back here again I can switch over to Tuesdays, that's fine. It doesn't give me as much recovery time from my GBLweekends but it's the Biggest Loser night so it works for me, LOL. I know you must be looking forward to getting the new bugg to replace the one that's not working so well right now. All in all, it's a good bargain and the costs have gone down enough that it is about the same price as the rest of these gadgets. There are several features I miss about the bugg but I'm happy enough with the fitbit. I'm sorry it didn't hold out longer for you but it certainly sounds like it's on its way out.
I took the BFC link off my computer tonight when I got home... even though I knew it was no longer up. I hope Lois will be able to post with us soon, though it sounds like she's got a lot on her plate, and yes, it would be nice to have Sheesh checking in, too. We can make the forum private or keep it public, what ever the preference of the group is once we settle in and decide what is what. There seems to be a pretty good bit of activity in the basic area and people do check in and respond to the threads. Reminds me a bit of the older BB site.
I am just now getting home- had some errands to do on the way home but now I need to put things away and go get on my exercise bike. The leg is not nearly as tender and the warmth has gone from it but there still seems to be a good bit of water retention to it. I got out for a little walk at lunch time and it didn't bother me, though, so I think I'm okay to add a little exercise back. I'll stop and get to the doctor if it flares again. Gee, it's hard getting old... LOL.0
