Is it possible to eat too few carbs?

I wonder if it is possible that I am not getting enough carbs??? I am eating a lot of protein and my carbs are below 20 each day.... I have not weighed myself yet so I don't know what is going on, all I do know is that I am not hungry or craving sweets, so I think I am on the right track. Curious....

In the beginning I don't think its possible to eat too few carbs, but are you getting enough fat?

Yes, it is possible. At minimum you should be approaching 20 grams of carbs per day, if only just to keep the plumbing working.

The effects you are describing are the hallmarks of ketosis, most keto dieters strive for this and enjoy the benefits you are describing. Long story short, it sounds like you're on the Atkins track. You can generally stay at your current levels (Induction) for five or six months if this is what you choose, but that's (at best) a spartan way to live and will take a ton of willpower. I did four weeks of Induction, and then moved on to the Ongoing Weight Loss (OWL) stages, which weren't as restrictive.

Physiologically, it sounds like you're at the point where I was in June. That was almost five months and 55 lbs ago. Ketosis (and daily exercise) saved (and melted/reshaped) my rear.

Please, please, please, for the love of God make sure you are taking a multivitamin/multimineral (no iron, unless you have been diagnosed as anemic by a doctor).

I do not recommend this path without the guide,

You can get this from your local library, book or e-book/Kindle, or use the Amazon link above and you can get it for a penny, plus $3.99 shipping used. But I recommend reading up so you know what to expect, and what to avoid.
