Great! I thought someone would like this, it starts on the first day of nov, please remember if you say yes stay committed, it is hard as it goes along but it is doable, I am 58 years young, lol, and I can do it!

I have a question. Do we have to do them all consecutive or can we break them up throughout the day? I haven't exercised much in the last 6 years until this past August and at 63 it's taking me a little longer than I anticipated to get into the groove again. I'd like to try but only if I can split them up a little during the day, maybe in 3 or 4 tries. If that's not possible for this challenge I'll understand. I may do it anyway, just not be part of your group. I've been doing squats with my trainer and in my circuit class but not nearly that many yet. I'm still on sets of 15.

How ever you want to so long as at the end of the day you have done the required amount.

I tried this challenge before but found that when the numbers got big I was rushing through them and my form got quite bad. Could I do a modified version of it where I commit to doing as many good form squats per day of the challenge that I can?

I asked my trainer about this challenge last night and she advised me not to do it............yet. I'm getting over a serious back injury and she doesn't think my form will hold up. She said I could do my version where I sit on a bench (coffee table at home) up and down sitting and standing, hands forward, rolling through my heels.

So I'll try to keep up with the numbers but I don't really think they qualify as squats.

Good luck to the rest of you.

50 squats done - I did them in two lots of 25. Once waiting for the kettle to boil and once waiting for the cake to be ready in the oven!

Is it OK to add the squat update to my daily UAC update? Or do you need me to also update on here?
