OK....so I kinda put this in the intro...but will enter here as well. My normal weigh days are Fridays. But I did sneak a peek on Monday...
SW 238
MFP SW I think I'll start with Monday's weight since I don't recall...204.0
LW Unknown - boards are gone
TW 204
Short term goal: 199.9 (back to Onderland)
Avg daily - 6633, total distance - 18.75 miles, total calories burned 14,337
Most proud for this week: tied - that I was able to get in as many steps as I did while confined at hospital with hubby AND the food prep on Sunday!!
Biggest challenge - no training/therapy - exhaustion
Light - GREAT JOB logging in your food. that is my challenge and I have no reason not to be successful. This week's focus is rest and getting back to my training/therapy.0 -
Sorry for being so late. My weigh-in day is Tuesday, but work has exploded this week. I feel like a hamster on one of those little wheels!
SW with BodyBugg: 155
Lowest weight since 129
Last week: 142.4
This week: 141.6
Goal: To maintain around 130
Avg. Steps: Can't say for this week because my bodybugg didn't count steps a couple of days: my typical average is around 7,000/day
Avg. Activity: Also can't say due to the bugg malfunction, but typically it's around 60 minutes/day
Goal: Get up from my desk and move around a few minutes every hour or so, (I can sit still and work and not realize that hours have gone by) and measure/weigh food more carefully. I log, but sometimes estimate amounts--you know, the "yep, look like about a cup."0 -
Sorry....had hubby's follow up this morning and when I was getting ready to jump on the scale, he needed help and poof - there went my attention. Follow up went well...he'll be home for another week (but i'm at work tee hee). On another note, the irritation in my knee has a reason - lateral meniscus tear. Yep headed back into surgery (date not yet known). So it's good I pushed for that MRI this past week and it turns out....I'm not a wuss for complaining. Anyhow, unsure what tomorrow holds, but if my brain remembers to hit the scale before running off to my workout in the morning, I'll post again tomorrow afternoon.
Hope everyone's doing well.

Sarah, good for you with the weight loss this week
Lois, bummer about the lateral tear, but it's good to know why you were still having problems
Keeping it short as I am at Grandbabyland and really need to get to bed.... will try again tomorrow but my focus has to be logging foods, whatever that turns out tobe...0 -

I'm here, and ready to get RE-started with y'all On this board I'm known as GaGasheesh (since sheesh was already taken, and my grandkids call me GaGa). Glad I found the group here! Thanks for the email Sarah. ;-) My weigh-in day is usually Tuesdays, but I will do whatever day works for everyone. If we ever have a competition, we should have a universal weigh-in day. Here goes:
Starting weight with BB: 156 lbs
Current weight: 132 lbs
Overall loss (maintained) 24 lbs
Overall previous loss 34 lbs (10 lbs regained)
Goal: 120 lbs maintained !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (So close, and yet soooooo far away it seems.)
Today, I was able to purchase a brand new FitBit Force . . . YAY!! I'm going to get it fired up ASAP! I'll be so glad to see my steps start to rack up again! It's not nearly as much fun to do them without SEEING that on the boards, ha ha ha! If you've got a FitBit, please "friend" me there as well as here on MyFitnessPal. See you soon.0 -
Really great to see you made it over here (finally, LOL!) You've done well maintaining most of your loss. I hope to do that well once I get back down again...
Lastchance, you did well to more or less maintain while eating meals prepared by others. That's my hardest time of all, I need the control of what I'm eating. This was a really hard visit at GBL, with very little food in the house and what was available was not what I should be eating. Uggh. And then they insist on filling my plate for me rather than letting me portion out what I want. Sigh... I don't really want to see what the scale is going to show come tomorrow morning, after working so hard to get the 2 lbs off, I suspect they will be back on there.
Keeping things short for now so I can go pay penance on the exercise bike while the laundry dries...0 -
OK Ladies...
Super busy weekend!! Getting everything organized and cleaned for the upcoming holidays...so backyard got lots of attention (including shampooing the outdoor cushions on the patio set and dining set). Looks great. Landscapers will only need to do minor stuff the week before Thanksgiving. Thank goodness that activity burned some calories, but I have no idea how many - I'm sure not enough to counter act the pizza I ordered for dinner. I was POOPED last night. Fell asleep on the couch waiting for the linens to dry.
Did not prepare any additional foods for the week and I have no idea if any families are contributing, HOWEVER, I do have cooked chicken breasts and pork chops in the freezer from last week...just need to whip up a side. Too tired last night to chop and grill veggies...maybe tonight )
This weekend we have tournament, so depending on how hubby feels we may be there for 2-6 hours on Saturday. Sunday I have plans to finish the downstairs cleaning and organizing and getting started on cleaning/dusting the rooms upstairs for MIL and sister.
Surgery date not yet known, so off to the trainer I'm going tonight (yes with modifications of course).
Is the goal to pick a common weigh in day?
So happy to see Sheesh here AND back on the FB boards!!!
Light - I get it. Knowing that's your situation, is there any way you can aid in food decisions? Offer to pick up and make dinners? I know that can get expensive and takes some time away from those little ones. I don't think they're old enough to assist with prep or cooking, but somehow engage them while you work?
Sarah - you're awful quiet... )0 -
Well, it sounds like we're all willing to weigh in on Tuesdays?? I'll check back tomorrow to post mine.
Lois, you do so much! You make me feel guilty. Lord knows my house could use some deep cleaning. Maybe you should come for a visit!
See you all tomorrow.0 -
I drive over directly from work and arrive close to bedtime when I go so I'm not up to shopping once I get there. Since I now end up leaving Sunday morning, it's just a matter of Saturday meals... and sometimes they have food and sometimes they don't. I was taking food with me or going grocery shopping each time but it got so I was being taken advantage of and if I'm only going to be there for one day, I don't want to spend half of it at the store. I'm on a pretty tight budget right now anyways and they need to have food on hand for their family and not be expecting me to provide for them. I should plan on a few things I can bring in my lunch box to get me thru breakfast but lunch and dinner at at their mercy since we sit down as a family to eat. Sometimes the choices are better than others ... and if we go out like we did this weekend, we end up eating fast food before coming home (from the dollar menu which limits the choices). It had been good the last few times ... but I'll have to come up with a contingency plan...0
