mrsahunter86's November 2013 Challenge

Major Goals:

1) To eat chocolate at least 5 days of the week.

In the doubtful possibility that I cannot/do not want chocolate, I will have one of the following:
- Taco Bell
- ice cream
- tater tots
- cheeseburger
- more than one serving of bacon
- non-skinny latte

2) In addition to the ice cream, I will fulfill my macro/micro/fiber goals by incorporating the following:

- Chicken, turkey, and fish
- lots of fresh/frozen vegetables
- Olive or safflower Oil
- Eggs
- fresh/frozen fruits

3) to lose 4-6 pounds during the month.

4) Fitness Goals

1. Work out a minimum of three times a week, preferably closer to 5 times.
2. Log 65 miles in the November beginner's challenge
3. Higher my weights on half of my new workout plan by the end of the month(even if it's only by 5 pounds).

They are so delicious! I blame my re-found love for them on my son, he made me buy them a while ago and didn't eat all of his at dinner one night, so OF COURSE I had to clear his plate.

Well, I decided seeing how I had such a great workout today, I would go big!

Mexican pizza from Taco Bell and strawberry lemonade from Wendy's(my kids are freaks of nature and don't like tacos much)

I didn't have anything from my "naughty list" yesterday, but I did end up going to Texas Roadhouse last night. Had a real man's dinner  steak, baked potato with butter and sour cream, and two rolls with their delicious cinnamon butter... Mmmmm... came in close to maintenance and am up about 1.5 pounds due to eating more than normal. Ehhh

Deciding to friend request Cindy exactly when I did was probably the best decision I'll have made this whole month! I had already read a bit about IIFYM and it sounded awesome but I was still so nervous that I couldn't eat the foods I like and still be able to lose weight. I've always been a firm believer in me gaining five pounds every time I look at cake(cuz the five pounds couldn't have possibly came from me eating like three pieces at a time thinking if it's sliced as one piece it counts haha).

Last night I had some butterfinger ice cream with my hubby while we watched a movie, it was delicious! I still managed to keep 300 extra calories uneaten to make up for Texas Roadhouse, and this morning I am right back at my original weight before Saturday night :)

    That's the plan Chevy!!

Today we went to subway and I had a delicious 220 calorie chocolate chip cookie :)
Still ended up 18 calories under my daily goal, even though today was one of those days where I wanted to eat everything in sight! Instead, I drank lots of water, tea, and coffee!

My older son guilt tripped me into going to Subway again today(he was in school when we went yesterday and he saw the kids meal bag my 3 year old had gotten haha). We went to the gym and then hit up Subway for some lunch before going to his parent teacher conference. He is doing GREAT btw, my little genius haha. Had another chocolate chip cookie, because their cookies are delicious. Might even still have another tasty treat after dinner seeing how I was on fire today at the gym!

Ended up having a few milky way bites yesterday as well, so one big delicious subway cookie, and 3 bite size milk way is the total for yesterday, and ended up with a 200-ish deficit due to an awesome workout earlier in the day.

Okay so yesterday I was under and ate a bunch of bite size milky ways, and today I had Taco Bell. Forgot to take pics because I was famished. Sorry guys!!! It was delicious though, all 600-something calories of it!!!

Overstuffed myself on Papa John's pizza today, for lunch AND dinner. Ate 5 slices between the two meals LOL That brought me to about 150-ish over maintenance. Will probably see about a pound or so gain tomorrow but that should work itself out in a day or two so no biggie  It was sooo worth it!!

...go for a 2 mile walk and you'll wipe out that 150 calorie surplus.

I was exhausted by the end of the day, we've been waking up super early the past week or so! Getting my bum in the gym today and I'll probably do an extra 10 minutes on the elliptical to make it up. Only ended up being up a pound which is probably just from all the sodium. Not too concerned with it, I'll be chugging water today and will be back on track with eating so it's all good :)

So yesterday I ate a bunch of crap, and kind of felt bad about it even though it's the first time I've gone that high over(probably about 1,000 calories, I didn't finish logging the bottle of wine I drank) in a while. I had two cheese tacos, a big yummy bowl of s'mores ice cream, and a bottle of wine. Today, I don't feel bad about it at all, because it was awesomely delicious, and because my butt was back in the gym this morning

That's awesome. I love getting back on the horse after days like that because I used to believe that days like that meant that I had failed in my diet, that I may as well just give up and stay in bed and eat chips all day. Now an overage is just another day, more enjoyable than the others, a refeed, diet break, whatever I want to call it, and no cause for alarm or regret. :drinker:

Exactly this! When I would have a bad day, I would take like a week to get back on it or just give up completely. Now I realize, I'm not going to do perfectly every single day for the rest of my life, so it's A-Ok. I have more awesome days than "bad ones" so that's what matters, and I no longer go on a downward spiral after one overfed day. That bottle of wine had been sitting in the fridge for like two months, unopened. I was feeling pretty great last night haha

I see you exercise a hell of a lot. Now that I finally have a bed in my bedroom, I can wake up in the morning and march off to the livingroom to workout as soon as I wake up. Hopefully I'll be able to stay a proud member of the "Eat chocolate every day and lose weight" club! :D

I love working out! Nothing better than getting some me time and getting stronger! Plus, my calorie limit sucks on rest days, so that's motivation to exercise as many days as possible without overdoing it  If only I were a super tall man instead of a super short woman lol
Good luck with working out, and congrats on having a bed! Yay!!! lol

Haven't checked in here for a while, but I promise, I'm still eating awesome things :)
In the past week I have had: chocolate, Good Humor birthday cake ice cream bars(you ALL must try them, delicious!!), Cadbury caramello ice cream bars, and today I even had a portabella bacon burger from Wendy's. It was pretty good, not as amazingly awesome as the one they had out last year, but still good. I went to applebee's yesterday but I'm not counting that as "eating the bad stuff" seeing how I had one of the under 550 lunches lol It was a rest day so I didn't want to screw myself over at noon.

Had such a busy weekend! Yesterday, due to having to go to a meeting that took longer than I had thought, I ended up eating Taco Bell for lunch(totally planned, steak quesadilla and a soft taco supreme, yummm) and then ended up having McDonalds for dinner(totally not planned, 6 piece chicken nugget and a medium fry). Plus I also had a birthday cake ice cream bar as well, it was a delicious but super busy overwhelming day!
