Muscle Knots

Does anyone have problems with these? I have a ton of knots in my shoulders and back, especially around my shoulder blades. I've been taking magnesium, which my chiropractor suggested, and trying to get in my protein, especially after lifting. Been drinking atleast 8 glasses of water, most days, and I've tried using a rubber ball against the wall to massage them out, but they just won't go away! And I've been trying to stretch them, atleast once a day. Any other suggestions???

  • Foam Roller.

If I wasn't already married, this would be my spouse for life. It can be painful, so be prepared for that but it it so, so effective.

I use mine nearly every day. It's great for the back (and quads after squats day  ) I really can't recommend it highly enough. YouTube has tons of helpful vids to help with how to use for a particular part of the body.

Deep tissue message works great for knots. I usually have one done when my shoulder & back muscles feel tight.

I 2nd the foam roller. Mine has ridges, which could hurt but I think of it as pleasure, every day, I roll my back and it cracks and readjusts- it's heaven!
