experimenting with ketosis

Because of a change of ingredients by the manufaturer of a protein powder i had struggled for 2 weeks and had not got into keosis whilst using it ( carbs 16g per 100g from 6g per 100g) and knowing i had to have a family meal out 21/2 days ago, i planed to start with a new protein powder the morning after.

Started as planned having eaten this the night before in a 1 1/2 hour $8 eat all you like...and rude not to !!!

1 bowl of soup with 2 large rolls and butter
2 large fatty gammon chops, eaten with peppers and melon.
1 very large portion of turkey breast with cranberry sauce, a roast potato and yorkshire pudding
half a large pizza
half a large garlic bread
a large spicy sausage
1 large slice of chocolate cake doused in cream
1 large strawbery and cream cake doused in cream
1 large portion af apple crumble doused in cream
a few nibbles along the way and soft drinks
a capuccino to finish

couldnt eat any more !

I went to the gym and was suprised by my strength and later weighed myself and yep that suprised me too in a bad way !

The biggest suprise has been in sticking to my diet nice and clean now 2 1/2 days later i m testing 3rd colour up on keto sticks despite not smelling the ketones which i have used as a guide for months rather than the sticks i only bought the other week to sort out the problem with my diet.

macros - 17g crb, 220p , 90 fat.

knowing i can drop into keto so fast, and knowing the efect of eating carbs had on my training . i ll be sure to target weekly cheat meals around parts of the body i want to hit with more weight and work harder.

( my weight fluctuated by 7 lb this week and i m at my lowest weight for years today )

Being as most eat more fat and half the protein i do and yet we all achieve ketosis .. is it possible the most important macro is the carb one ??
