Alternatives to step ups

I have OA in my right knee and I'm trying to figure out how to do/modify step ups. 14" is too high for me but does anyone have any thoughts on how high a step I could try and see benefit or recommend an alternative? I can make the squats and lunges happen thankfully.....
Here is my workout:
Push Ups 3x 10
Curtsy Lunge 3 x10
Step Up and Press 3 x10
Dips 3x 10
Bowler Squat 3x 10
Plank 3 60 seconds
One arm dumbbell row 3x 10
T-Bend 3x 10 60
Squat and Lateral Raise 3x 10
