    Regardless who owns them, I am not really surprised that some organic brands are against mandatory GMO labeling simply from business point of view. People purchase organic produce/ brands from variety of reasons and being guaranteed GMO-free is one of those reasons.
    Mandatory GMO labeling will make a bunch of non organic product appealing to those people who currently buy the certified organic mainly to avoid GMOs. Hence some organic food companies will lose business, and maybe have to lower prices to remain competitive.
