brussel sprouts for the holidays

2 bags frozen brussel sprouts
6 slices of bacon cooked crisp and diced fine
1 onion minced fine
veggie stock
salt and pepper
1 tsp german sweet mustard
1 tsp butter


in a large pan saute onion in a 1 tsp butter add brussel sprouts and 1 cup of stock and mustard mix gently to incorporate mustard bring to a boil and cover and steam for 8 minutes ,remove lid and let stock cook down to almost gone (to make a sauce to lightly coat brussel sprouts .turn off heat adjust salt and pepper to taste and add crispy bacon pieces
