Body fat% question...

First off, I'm excited to say I've lost 6 lbs since starting Monday. I understand a lot is probably water weight, but I'm still happy
One thing put me off this morning though: My body fat monitor showed me UP 1%, from 26% to 27%. I've never been as high as 26%. Any reason you guys can think of for this?

Body fat monitors are notoriously poor indicators of body fat %. They can vary based on how much water your drink and what types of other fluids you've had and when the last time you ate was. Calipers are the best home gauge, but who wants to use calipers, lol (flashback to elementary school gym class!!!)
I would ignore that and focus on how your clothes fit, measurements, and the scale moving down.0 -
Yeah, my BF monitor scales are awful. This morning I had 4 different readings all within about 3 minutes of each other varying by 3%0
