Low carb no dairy no fruit

I'm on a doctor recommended low carb plan, but it also has no dairy or fruit. Been doing it for awhile and have only lost 12 lbs (like 16 weeks of on-plan eating). I think my problem might be not enough fat.

Thoughts?

My other struggle is sweets--I always ate a lot of fruit and now I find I crave sweets all the time. Don't miss dairy and don't really miss bread/potatos/rice. Suggestions?

Congrats on the losses, you are doing well. If you are craving things, up your fat intake to feel satiated. Look here for ideas! I love vanilla fat bombs made with cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla and stevia to sweeten.... though those won't work for a no-dairy diet, poor you. I put them in the freezer and nibble when a craving hits. But maybe some here will be ok?

Fat Bombs are great for low carb diets....I also do no dairy and use the cream cheese alternative(better then cream cheese brand) in the fat bombs or you can use no cream cheese and margarine along with coconut oil, stevia and coca powder....freeze in ice cube tray and YUM!

Please don't use margarine, it's all chemical and horrible for your body. Try a bat bomb made of coconut oil, stevia, and good quality cocoa powder. Melt the CO, mix in the other ingredients until well blended and pour into silicone molds or greased muffin wrappers let set and way as needed.

Eat lots of avocado, olive oil, macadamia nuts, ghee (clarified butter, so little to no 'dairy'), fattier cuts if meat and fish, etc
