That's why they say "the meet doesn't end til the bar hits the floor". Congrats on a great 1st meet. You surely learned a LOT today about how different a competition is vs maxing out in the gym. The energy level gets off the hook. I was looking at some old videos of me lifting in meets and my heart was pounding just watching, knowing what I had gone thru on the platform.
Give yourself a week off, even though you didn't lift a lot of volume, you will probably feel like a truck ran over you the next day or 2.
Again, big congrats!0 -
Simply amazing! Congrats on the state record!!!!0

Thank you. It was a huge learning experience. I am going to post about it in more detail, but everyone was so encouraging and nice. I seemed to use the energy for my deadlifts as those kind of came out of no-where. I had to pull the 325 only a few minutes after the 315 and I was still shaking from that one. I am definitely doing another one.
Not feeling too bad at the moment, but I was on the ball last night and used the recuperating powers of a pint of BnJ - magic.0 -
What could one more fan add? Congrats!0

So much epic win!!0
