Finished first 5Ktoday...17 overall and first in age group (25:58). It was tougher than I thought it would be, but i loved it. My daughter ran as well and she finished 26th overall and 3rd in her group.

It's been great reading about everyone's accomplishments as well as all the shared experiences. Next one is December 14th!

    Wow! How long ago did you finish the C25K? 25:58 is an awesome time, and you must have been thrilled to be first in your age group. Very impressive!

    sorry it took so long to respond: busy day yesterday...youngest daughter had soccer games, youngest son had an academic bowl tourney:

    first of all thank you all for the kind comments

    @besdais--I started C25K in Septemberish, wrapped it up October..I had a gap of about 3-4 weeks since finishing C25K and my first 5k.

    @kathleen, no she swears she hates running, and her high school soccer season just wrapped up and she wanted to sign up. We are signed up for another one on December 7th.

    Great job and wonderful that your daughter ran with you. Everybody hates running...until they love running.
