Ladiies...since we are just shy of three weeks out from the end of our current program, I have been doing a little research, and a friend of mine recommended that I check out PHAT, and then saw it on one of the forums today, so I went over and checked it out:

The premise is five days with two rest days, altho I am thinking that one could work two days into one if necessary. The first days focus on higher reps, lower weight, for burning fat the other for strength gains with fewer reps higher weight. I printed off the workout to study a little bit, but it may be something I might be interested in, especially since the cost is...well, free, LOL...

Okeeey, so with one week to go I am now really looking into programs..
I want to try and do more barbell routines than anything else.
I like the looks of that layne Norton routine, but there's a couple of leg extensions and leg curls again lol.
I want to concentrate on barbell moves, its easier for me to invest in barbell only plates than more dumbells again.
So I found these two routines that I quite like..

3 day split

4 day split
I dont think that I will be updating MFP with a thread the next time, as awesome as that was, I seriously need to get off here more often lol. Spend too much time fannying about with social networking, and its driving me nuts. (and I just cant seem to stay off lol)
Edit to add, will you be taking a rest break between this routine and the next?0 -
Hey, C! I JUST saw this today...I will check out both of those splits. I am also thinking I might look into Nia Shanks Beautiful Badass.
I am most assuredly going to take a rest week after this twelve weeks...and because I am actually kind of on a bulk until January 1, I thought that I might re-do the last four weeks of this program before starting a cut in January...
Tho, I hesitate to do that, because I love this group. Y'all have kept me so freaking accountable, and this is the longest I have consistently stuck to a program.0 -
I know! Its been so awesome to stick with it together,
accountability and a bit of responsibility!0
