Giblets Anyone?

Do you ever eat giblets? How do you like to prepare them?
I've only ever had giblet gravy & was never a fan of that Irony taste. I was thinking of frying them with bacon to make "pate".

We used to eat fried chicken hearts and livers growing up, I loved them and miss them. I have yet to find a satisfactory sub for my mom's fried chicken method so will likely not have them soon. A farm near me has an awesome price on grass fed/finished cow hearts and I have been dying to try a cow heart stew. Otherwise i just throw my chicken giblets into the crock pot when making bone broth. Hubs really dislikes any offal so I have not ventured into it any further.0

I love poultry liver. I just pan-fry it f with garlic and put salt on it when it is ready. Unfortunately my kids are not big on it, and my husband has gout and not advised against it. Sometimes I just roast the liver along when I roast the whole chicken or duck or whatever bird.
When I grow up , my mom used to make paprikash from the heart and gizzard, but I really dislike the texture of those organs, so I do not do it, but they are very popular in Hungary . I generally like paprikash, and I just use arrowroot flour for thickening. If you are paleo not primal, just ommit the sour cream.0 -
I'm responsible for the T-day turkey this year. I'm so going to fry these up for breakfast.0
