I'm going into the de-load week of my first cycle of Wendler's 5/3/1. Should I pull back on my calories a bit for the week (I've been eating about 100-200 over TDEE per day), maybe just eat TDEE or is that unnecessary?
Second, about accessory lifts: should I be keeping the weight and reps the same for accessory lifts throughout the cycle? I've been increasing them weekly, but it suddenly occured to be me that maybe I shouldn't be?
Thanks!!

I always kept my calories the same.
Yes you should be progressively increasing the weights/reps on your assistance work also. If you are basing them on percentages (60% of 1RM for 4 sets of 10 for example) then just increase them in line with your increased training max for the new cycle.0 -
ok- so I keep the accessory lifts the same throughout the cycle? Or increased each week? And do I de-load on those as well in week 4?0

I increase my accessory weights each week. 10lbs on the big lifts, 5lbs on the others. I back off to week 1 weight on the deload week. Then the next cycle, I start with the week 2 weights and ramp up from there.0
