Hey guys. New to the group. Been using MFP for about 6 months. Stopped for awhile because I became really unmotivated. I'm back now and want to take advantage of it to finish my goal. I want to get down to 200 or under. I'm at 216 right now. I lift and do cardio and some HIIT at the gym. Names Michael by the way.

Hi Michael & welcome! I've used MFP, off and on, for awhile. In July, I saw 260 on the scale and got back on the bus. Now, I'm at 218 with about 20% body fat. I also have a goal of 200 which should give me 14% BF. Doing cardio every week and can run again; now adding resistance and strength training. Friend me guys, if you want. TJ0

Michael, welcome to the Male Stop. I've been on MFP since June '13 and dropped 35 lbs. My current goal is 205-210. Keeping my calories at a slight deficit until next year to hopefully balance off some of the holiday eating. Started AllPro Beginners Strength training, about 5-6 weeks ago, at super-low weights (dumbbells), so I could practice good form and not injure myself. Increasing the weights next week to make it a bit more challenging. Again welcome!

Welcome! I've been on MFP for a while now. Dropped down to 205 from 250ish, then back up to 237. I'm hovering around 210, but have really changed my body composition this time (lost 41 lbs of fat, gained 28 lbs of muscle). And I made it through football season without completely blowing it, which is a big deal for me.
Looking to reset now and go for another big set of improvements (body composition, functional strength, balance and flexibility).0
