Hi, I'm Liz. I've been on a 12 week Candida Diet Plan for a week now, and next week is Thanksgiving.
I need thoughts and suggestions on what foods would be good to eat for me since I'm currently on the very strict phase of the diet.
What are some of your favorite recipes that will apease the need for Thanksgiving food, and fit into a candida free menu?

Sorry I'm so late responding to you.. in time for Christmas at least. My suggestion is really play up the turkey and veggies, and skip the stuffing, the sweets and the wine/alcohol as much as possible. Keep a lot of fresh low glycemic fruit around for dessert, like apples and berries (strawberries, blueberries etc) you can make fruit compote as a nice desert (with no added sugar) and just don't have more than a serving or two. Otherwise if you do get off plan, keep the portion small and try to get back on track as soon as possible. I find traditional holiday food to be fairly easy to stay on plan for.. I just focus on the turkey and steamed vegetables, baked squash.. stuff like that.0
