Signed up for my first 5K

Hi everyone,
I decided last night that it was time for me to take the plunge and sign up for my first 5K race, so I'm going to run for Sport Relief on March 23rd next year. It seems like a while away but I only just started running a couple of months ago, but loved doing C25K and want to keep on pushing myself.
I still have a way to go to actually do the 5K distance, but I also did my first run outside today (I usually run on the treadmill) and was therefore able to use a GPS app to get a proper idea of stats. I managed to run (jog!) for 35 mins and covered a distance of 4.1K in that time, so I think 5K won't be a problem by March.
Just wanted to say thanks to all the fab posts in this group - I have learnt so much about running from you all and have achieved so much more than I thought I would.
You're all very inspiring :flowerforyou:
