workout routine?

Hiii, I've been lifting heavy for almost a year but I am now trying to get into a proper routine.. I did try the 5x5 training but found it sometimes too difficult to go to the gym 5x a week and felt like my muscles needed more recovery time so I am now going to try the 4 day upper/lower body split..
Monday: Upper Body (shoulders, chest, triceps) + Cardio
Tuesday: Lower Body (Legs, Glutes, Abs)
Wednesday: Cardio
Thursday : Upper Body (Back, Biceps) + cardio
Friday: Lower Body (Legs, Glutes, Abs)
Saturday: Cardio
Sunday: OFF
Usually for the cardio I prefer to do HIIT training.. but I also play field hockey and badminton which bumps up the cardio. Any tips on this routine?
