Salmon-Macaroni Slaw

3 ounces elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1 [151/2 ounce] can/bags salmon : skin removed,bones left : drained, flaked
3 cups cabbage/finely shredded,red and / or green
1 chopped celery stalk ,about 1/2 cup
1 green pepper,chopped , about 1 cup
2 Tbs finely chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup vegetable
2 Tbs vinegar
ok seems like a lot of work but the fresh chopped flavors are worth it ;now then
cook macaroni
mix in first 5 ingredients
mix ; in a small bowl ; last 4 ingredients pour over macaroni mixture and toss
cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes
it makes 6 servings @ 237 calories / 11.9g total fat / 38mg cholesterol / 449.9mg sodium / 14.9g total carbohydrates / 1.8g fiber / 2.2g sugars / 17.3g protein per serving
i leave the salt out an use olive oil instead of vegetable oil , which changes the nutrition facts a little ( hopefully in my favor ) I prefer the taste ,and don't need the extra sodium. ok enuf said , hope you can have it an love it
