My brother is giving my mother a Kindle for Christmas. Since we're worried that the technology might put her off, I'd like to have a list of good, new work to suggest to her. She loves fiction and history for genres. Her interests include cooking, gardening, sewing, and writing. I just want her to enjoy her Christmas gift. Also, since we have similar tastes in books, any suggestions for her will work for me!

I'd stalk the "Goodreads" site for the top books and new releases in those subjects (along with honest reviews from readers). That's my go-to book site for inspiration!0

I love goodreads! I don't have any suggestions but the genres will be in there so she could search for books she'd like to read.0
