Hi guys


So I have reduced my carbs via induction atkins for 3 weeks but now looking to go more high fat keto

I think I need to reduce my cream intake can you look at my diary post today and advise where I need to make adjustments

    Hi Embrya,
    This looks good. I would make a few adjustments though.
    1) go into your profile and change your carbs, protein and fat set points.
    2) figure out what your total calorie expenditure should be. There are all sorts of calculators available on the net for that, and input that into your set point to
    3) figure out what you carbs and proteins should be. What works for me is 25 g carbs and 1.5 grams protein per kg of lean body mass calculation. Input these two numbers in your profile as your targets. Don't eat more than this protein set point as your body will convert the excess protein into sugar, which defeats the purpose of eating low carb.
    4) don't eat a meal predominantly carbs. Have fat as prominent component in each meal. I noticed that you had only Brussels sprouts for dinner. You should have them with butter, cream or olive oil. A high carb-no fat spike like this can throw you out of keto.

    I changed my carbs protein and fats to the following 5% 20% 75% which I got from reading online and some useful vids this being one of them http://youtu.be/6xFZarTHzvU

    Although my carbs are low 20-25 at the most I prob have too much protein and not enough fat which is the main purpose "face palm" lool


    My bmr is apparently 1,569

    I also changed my diary to reflect my meals better I made creamed sprouts so I had the same thing for lunch and dinner veg and protein so this part is updated and it was my fault for putting out the wrong info
