''Breading''

Tip #1 - For those of you who like a breaded chicken breast or fish fillet....A tasty and better for you alternative is to use ground almond to ''bread'' the meat rather than actual bread. It's definitely a different flavour but still good, and gets you some good fats and extra calories if you need them.

Would you only suggest this for chicken and fish? My husband likes pork chops.0

nah, it'll totally work on pork chops. It just tastes weird with red meats so I wouldn't necessarily do it with a steak or anything.0

Okay, then I won't be trying it as a veal breading0

oh, I hadn't thought of veal. That might work. It has a pretty different flavour to a regular old hunk of beef.0

That's true. we don't have it often so we haven't perfected it yet. All we have tried so far are different brands of seasoned breadcrumbs.0

you can totally throw whatever seasonings into your ground almonds too. I like to mix in a little bit of crushed red pepper and some chipotle powder to give it a kick for my chicken.0
