So two more Saturday check in's to go before Christmas!! I am going to make a last big effort to lose as much as possible. Well done to those of you who have already lost 20 pounds and met the challenge. And a really big well done to everyone who has kept the challenge going. As the saying goes "you have to be in it to win it" or in this case lose it!

Whether I make this challenge or not by Christmas, I have really benefited from taking part, as it has held me accountable and I find that is what I need to lose the weight. I will be looking for a new challenge in the new year to help me achieve my goal weight of 68Kg.

    Down 14.4 total! It's possible I could lose the last 5.6 by Christmas but even if I don't I agree with Mags. This has been great for me. I bought a scale at home and seeing my weight go up and down every day can be kind of frustrating - so having somewhere to weigh in at a normal time helped me actually see changes. And of course I made some good friends!

    Just 4.9 lbs. to go! I think it is unlikely I'll make it at my current loss rate. On the other hand, I am not giving up. Regardless of the final result, I am very thankful for the motivation this group has provided and the progress I have made.

    Great job to everyone who has lost their 20, but also to all of you who have stuck it out this far!

    This has not been a good two weeks for me and I am growing tired I being frustrated with the scale and sore all the time. Last night I caved to beer and am not pleased with myself for it. I'm going to try to let go of the tension and just get back to enjoying feeding my body with nutrition instead of crap. I should add that the fact that I am still here, still committed and acknowledging the fact tht my goal is taking longer, but will still happen is a goal in of itself. No quitting!!

    I am only 2.2 pounds down right now (I was over 6 down before I started lifting, I always retain water). I realize I won't hit the goal, but I knew that going in since I'm losing slowly for safe breastfeeding. I have lost some inches so that is good.

    Hi there again! As I have said previously, my HW before starting my weight loss journey was 202 lbs. So, I began losing this passed July and joined mfp in August. Here are my stats as of starting this challenge:

    Sw-177 lbs
    Cw- 145 lbs
    Ugw- 130 lbs

    Total loss this WK: -4 lbs ( WOWZA!!)
    total challenge loss: -32 lbs

    Revised weight goal by Christmas: 140 lbs

    Congrats to you all on your commitment to this challenge, whether if you had a loss or not. You just being here means that you care about your health. Christmas is almost upon us! Good luck in the weeks ahead!

    The scale is going back down again, but I was sick last week and did lose 1.4 lbs. but didn't post it.
    Still trying to get on track. The time is going fast and I am not doing very well. I have posted
    on my fridge my weight for me to see everyday and I post it everyday. Maybe this will help me
    to get some motivation since I have a trip planned for Jamaica in April.

    It's doubtful I will make 20lbs in a couple of weeks. I have a works Christmas meal next Friday (arghh!!!). But just being nearly 15lbs down, I'm so thrilled. Just little losses here and there cumulatively soon add up and I don't think you necessarily notice so much unless you log like we've been doing between us.

    Whatever our losses though, everyone has done great. Keep up the great work everyone and congratulations to everyone that has already reached that 20lbs mark, especially those that have surpassed it and some loads!! :drinker:

    Hey everyone great job on your losses. I once again didn't lose anything so I'm still at 221.6 lbs. However I'm having a huge problem with not eating all the holiday treats that are everywhere now so I'm sure that is the reason for maintaining weight rather than losing it. I'm hoping I can lose at least two pounds but it may not be possible with my current eating habits and all the stress I'm under.
