Hello fellow Keto-ers! I am brand new to this group and wanted to just introduce myself. My name is Jen and I am 31 years old. I have been following a low carb lifestyle (although inconsistently) now for most of my late 20s into my 30s. I have been on and tried just about every diet and I know that I feel and look my best when I follow a low carb/keto approach. I am 5'2" and I currently weigh in at 135 -- my heaviest weight and I HATE IT. I would love to reach out to all of you and make public that I need help with accountability. Consistency has proven to be my biggest challenge when it comes to dropping this weight, and I am hoping that you all can help me. I will be happy to offer the same to you!
Thanks!

Nice to see that you are a personal chef, and health specialists. 'm always interested in hearing from health professionals who are pro keto and pro low carb - seems like the health profession is so bought into the standard American diet pyramid way of eating and completely oblivious to the damage it has created. Do you know other health specialists that are pro low carb too? Do you counsel your clients to do the low carb thing too?

    Hi Jen,
I am currently exactly where you are and by far, my biggest struggles are accountability to myself and consistency. I'm so excited that this group exists and I'd be more than happy to be your keto pal along the way!

Yes! My "office" job is actually at a weight loss and wellness clinic, and we teach a low carb lifestyle to ALL our patients that come through the door. It really is refreshing to be able to work in an environment where the MD and the staff all align with similar views on health and nutrition. Although our clinic is among the few medical facilities that take this progressive approach, we are certainly paving the way to "lift the veil" from the typical SAD diet.
