Anyone else feel anxious pretty often? I have never been an anxious person in the past, but lately I find myself getting anxious and stressed about nothing, really. I'm wondering if it has to do with the amount of thyroid I'm taking, but I'm scared to lower the dose... I don't want to be lethargic either!

    My doctor and I discussed this actually. Iodoral and hypothyroid meds can make you feel jittery until you adjust. I experienced jitters/anxiety initially but will say that it has subsided over time.

    I was anxious before starting thyroid meds and while I was on too high a dose. If it doesn't go away, it might be worth it to adjust your dose a bit. Yes, lethargy sucks, but I am sure you don't want to be anxious all the time either. There has got to be a happy medium. I hope you are able to find it soon.

    I feel jumpy a little. I believe it is linked to my use of Levothyroxine.

    I take anxiety meds along with my thyroid meds.

    Have you had your adrenals tested? Just a thought...
