Thoughts on new lifting program?

I'm finishing up my 8th cycle of All Pro Beginner's routine. It's been good to me, but I think I'm ready to try something new and I'll have better access to a gym in January. I am currently bulking and will be until the end of January. I will have access to a gym (with cage, free weights and assorted machines) on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and access to my dumbbells at home the other days. My main goal is hypertrophy, then strength (and then muscle retention when I cut). Do you have any suggestions that would work with this timetable (in terms of days when I have access to heavier equipment)?

Are you currently doing a DB version of AP?
You could just switch to barbells and keep going with the same routine. That would be one idea.0 -
I enjoyed Stronglifts but that is almost exclusively barbells so that might be a limiting factor.
I also got bored with after a few months but I'm guessing that's pretty normal.0 -

Yep still doing DBs. I suppose doing BBs could be enough of a shake up and add some novelty...hmm. I'm certainly not stalling out on AP yet.0 -
You'll have your hands full in learning proper barbell technique. I have a hunch that's going to introduce plenty of "newness" into your routine.
If I were you, I'd stick to AP.0 -

Agree with SS - there is a lot of satisfaction (well, for me anyway) learning and tweaking your form on the compounds.0

Even monkeys can get 25% on a multiple-choice....if you throw enough at it, something will stick every now and again.0 -
Now, now. Play nice, you two, or I'm going to call a time out.0
