Sorry I've been absent but I'm back! What would you all like to see in this group come the new year? Challenges, support, recipe sharing, etc? I'd love to see your input so we can make this a group that really works for all of us. My weight loss challenge for myself is to lose 50 lbs before June for my daughter's graduation and am doing indoor walking, light weights with Denise Austin on youtube and focusing on my daily exercise/food monitoring. I hope to hear from you soon, and I hope we can make this a really fun group

A medication FAQ might be nice. There have been a ton of people on the Hyper/Hypo forum who are shocked that there are rules associated with the medications. And I'm personally interested in the different kinds (in conversation right now with someone re the difference between generic and Synthroid), and just how much weight effects dosage.
And I know I would have liked some recipe ideas for the low iodine diet when that happened. The cookbook available through the ThyCa website is terrible - especially for someone like me who absolutely loved eating out. (I'm reformed, partly from that experience!)0 -
Love the ideas, thanks. Great ideas. Definitely think we could come up with some great recipe sharing on here and would love to see some FAQ on the meds. I thought my levothyroxine dose was high because I was so special, and then I found out it was weight-based, and made me sad LOL0

I am on synthroid and it is also weight based :-( I agree some facts about meds would be great. I have heard different things about how lone to wait before eating after taking meds in the morning . I generally wait or at least try to wait an 1 hr. look forward to reading the posts here0
