Here's something to try, as we become more mindful. I'm going to try this today!

Really taste what I eat. Eat one thing mindfully -- focus on its taste, texture, temperature. Stop chewing and feel it sit in my mouth. Do the flavors change? Chew one bite, paying attention to how it feels on my tongue as it mixes with the saliva -- getting finer and finer.

How closely can I notice the variety and beauty in this very bite?
