new to the program...

Hello,
I just purchased the book and I am looking forward to reading it and starting this adventure! I did have a question though-- I want to do this before having surgery to be in better shape, but after surgery I won't be able to workout (hard) for about 6 weeks. Would it be counterproductive to re-do the 6 weeks program after that? Or does the book offer a guide to dieting/exercising for life after the 6 weeks if I do reach my goal?
