How did 2013 go for you?
What do you have planned for 2014?
I lost 113.6 lbs with JUDDD in 2013, 9.6 pounds over my goal of 2 pounds a week.
In 2014, I plan to lose my last 20-25 pounds by around June or so.

Hi Jennifer!
Great to hear that it's going well! Thank you! It has certainly been a fun ride over the past year - completely life changing.
I'm down to my last 20 lbs too - I'm hoping that I keep losing at a good pace - lots of rumors that the last 20 lbs takes the longest.
But we can disprove those rumors.
Let's see tips...
Other than following the allotted calories on both up and down days; And I assume that you have been around here long enough to know the MFP quirks... (odd calorie and exercise entries, etc)
- Don't eat exercise calories on down days - but once you get used to down days you can exercise
- Protein helps on down days
- Liquids help on down days
- Ignore hunger for 15 minutes and it quite often goes away
- Keep some super low calorie snacks around when you are out of calories and need a bite (I ate a lot of "emergency" Sugar-free jello pudding)
- Enjoy your up days - they give you strength and aid your resolve for down days.
- Make one change at a time and get well settled into that before you add another - right now your change is JUDDD
And on a macro-level:
- Be consistent
- Be honest
- Be accurate
Good luck to you! Hoping we both get those 20 lbs off quickly!0 -
Hi All! Wow, what an inspiration you are, Juddding! Honestly, anytime I've needed encouragement to continue on JUDDD I would check yours or Keiras_Mom's diary out or read your statuses. It has helped me keep on track
I lost about 23 lbs in 2013 (but gained 6 back over the holidays). I started JUDDD in early September and lost 14lbs on it alone. I now have 13 lbs to go and it DOES seem to be taking forever! My goals for this year include: exercising again (yeah, I totally stopped), losing those last 13 lbs and eating healthier on my UD's! I totally have a Doritos addiction I also kinda need to kick...
I am excited that my husband has decided to start JUDDDing now, too (well, he's trying it out for the month of January anyway!) Today completes his first 10 days on JUDDD and he lost 2 lbs this week. He said if he loses 10 lbs in January he'll stay on it... his current weight is 190 and he is 30yrs and 5' 9.5" He has a goal weight of 175lbs.
Happy New Year to everyone and best of luck in accomplishing your goals in 2014!0 -
Excellent! Welcome all0
