Here is this week's punishment exercises. Team Michonne would like us to do this 4 minute "Bring Sally Up" Squat Challenge, 5 times this week.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CswK7e_Bep8
If you can't access the video, it is 4 minutes of regular squats, but holding in the squat position for a full 3 seconds before rising and squatting again.

Edited to add, one more point! For the zombie Glenn killed in front of Tara's cage. I thought he just pushed it, but he stabbed it in the back! So now 10.

Hi everyone, sorry I was MIA lately. My DD had surgery this past week and I have not been with it mentally because of this. We are back home now, surprisingly after 4 days. I haven't exercised a lot either while I was gone. Got in a few walks at the hospital, but that's about it.

    Getting back at it.

How's everyone doing? I was busy all day and didn't get a chance to send any reminder PMs so hopefully everyone has or will get their messages in to me tonight.

I didn't count that kill when I was counting because I don't think you an kill a walker by stabbing them in the back. However, I won't challenge it. lol

You have a valid point there. :/ What decided me was when Glenn and Tara were leaving that area, it showed that zombie laid out, apparently dead. We'll see if it affects the overall totals.

For anyone who is looking to contribute a fitspo, the thread is now in part 4. Remember you don't have to do it until week 9, but you can do it any time before then and those bonus points (2) will be counted towards you and your team's totals in week 9. Here is the new thread:

Tyreese and Sasha will be deciding the punishment exercises this week.

Please note this addition to the challenge this week. This would be a great week to get in the top four!

What we learned from the show this week was that some strangers are enemies and some appear to be friends and may help you on your journey. The top four highest scoring teams of this week's challenge (which will be announced next Monday) will get to choose Abraham, Rosita, Eugene or Tara to add to their team and have their kills added to their team's scores for the rest of the challenge starting with the March 1st episode. Winning team chooses first and so on.

Tyreese and Sasha have decided that everyone should complete 5 minutes per day (for 5 days) of Wall Squats. These can be included in your strength totals. There are a few versions of Wall Squats, facing or not facing the wall, with or without a ball or weights.....Choose one appropriate to your fitness level.

Hi everyone. I am having trouble right now getting back into the "swing of things". I am also up due to my daughter yelling in her sleep (scared the CRAP out of me) so I will write my auto-biography....

I am 30 yrs old, I was born and raised in "downeast" Maine. I moved to Massachusetts in 2003 and I have been with my Husband going on 11 years, married for 4. I have a wonderful and amazing daughter who is 7. She is recovering from open heart surgery (she had on the 13th of this month, reason I was MIA for a while). She is the strongest person I know. I am a 911/police dispatcher, I work 11a-7pm. I hope to be able to run/jog a 5k this year without walking.

Hoping this week I can get back into my routine and back on the losing end of this!!

Wow, it must've been stressful, having your daughter go through such a serious procedure! I am jealous of your job, that is one of the careers I feel I "should have/could have" done because I can stay calm in a stressful situation. You must have some crazy stories to tell! Did you watch The Call with Halle Berry yet?

Remember to check in! Don't forget that there's a great prize this week, the top four teams get to add a new character from the show, who will make them points for the rest of the challenge.

This week's optional show inspired exercise is this fitnessblender golf workout:

Posting from my phone at work so I'll be brief! The week's punishment is a quick circuit training routine:

1 min jumping jacks; 10 sit ups/roll ups/crunches; 1 min jump rope; 1 min side plank (30 sec each side); 5 burpees.
Here's the punishment from Team Rick's captain. The good news is he decided that you only have to do it once this week and, as always, you can include it with your cardio or strength numbers.

Team Daryl has decided on this week's punishment exercise, the Spartan Bow.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVyvF2B3CIo
If this is too difficult for your current level, you can do basic lunges instead. Please complete this exercise 30 times per leg, 4 times this week.

Glenn and Maggie will be choosing the punishment this week. What's nice is there has been a different winner every week so far. Congrats to all the MVPs and have a great week everyone. Hoping to see some reunions in the next few episodes.

Hello Team Glenn and Maggie ....I am from Team Walker...I was part of Team creepy kid's but we know how that went :ohwell: Anyway I am here to ask if I may do reverse planks for the punishment ? Because I am just getting over a broken foot and planks scare me. Please let me know if that is ok . Thanks Georgie

Tyreese and Sasha already chose a punishment exercise:

Inchworm: Stand up tall with the legs straight, and do like Lil’ Jon and let those fingertips hit the floor. Keeping the legs straight (but not locked!), slowly lower the torso toward the floor, and then walk the hands forward. Once in a push-up position, start taking tiny steps so the feet meet the hands. Continue bugging out for 4-6 reps.

    Do 3 days this week.

Tyreese and Sasha will be deciding the last punishment exercise of the season.

Also remember this is the week to get your 2 points for doing a Fitspiration, the early bird challenge 4 was:

A big part of survival in the apocalypse will be teaching and inspiring others. In week 9, there will be bonus points (2) awarded to everyone who contributes a fitspo to the MFP Fitspiration thread.

    Part One:
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1102508-mfp-fitspiration
    Part Two:

    Part Three:
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1128928-mfp-fitspiration

    Part Four
    Add your fitspo here:
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1198808-mfp-fitspiration

If you haven't done a fitspo yet, think of what you've accomplished in the last 9 weeks and make one now to make 2 points for your team this week. Browse the 4 part thread for inspiration (you'll find plenty). As you can see, a fitspo is just a motivational quote on a picture. It can be a before and after picture, a picture of yourself dancing, a picture of the street you jog on, the park you walk through or of an obstacle you've had to fight past. As long as the quote and picture have inspired you, it will inspire others. Message your team captain when you have posted one or remind them that you have done so already.

Hi Everyone! I made one more thread here for us to chat, plan, and have mini challenges:
    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1245111-after-dead-chat
As most of you know, we will be doing this again for Season 5 and I hope you will all join us then and in the meantime, we will keep this group open. We're still crunching numbers, so it might be tonight final MVP's and last week's winning team and the overall winning team is announced.
