My starting weight, as of yesterday (Monday), is 149 lbs. (And man, do I fight to keep it under 150!!!)0

As of yesterday (1/6) my weight is 194.5! I am starting a master cleanse tomorrow morning because after eating fried, greasy, ridiculously cheesy foods since christmas eve I need a reset! Lol. I currently have a short term goal of 30 by April 4th, so hopefully this will get me going!!0 -

I saw an interesting fitness tip (working out is something I struggle with) that I thought I'd share. I'm planning to add this in to my day also.
1 pound of fat = 3,500 calories
2 jumping jacks = 1 calorie burned
100 jumping jacks a day = 3,500 calories burned a week
3, 500 calories a week means... 1 pound lost!
So if I do this until summer I can easily meet my weight loss goals before then. Anyone else want to join me?0 -

@cwalbrun19, That sounds awesome, but I think you're off by a factor of 10. 2 jacks is 1 calorie so you'd have to do 7000 jumping jacks to burn 3500 calories. That's 1000 jumping jacks a day, not 100. But that said, it's a nice way to try to break it down into a tangeable amount.0

My fiance and I did our first official weigh in last Thursday, so I'm going with that weight. My sister gets married June 7th. Do not want to be the chubby sister or the chubby one amongst the bridesmaids. Lost 30 lbs last year and somehow managed to gain 10 back. Time to refocus.0 -
