Triceps bench dip alternative?

I've been doing weighed bench dips during my workouts at home (wearing a weighted backpack). I am now working out a gym and I hoped they'd have a weight vest but no joy. What's a good alternative with free weights?

Are you not able to bring your backpack with you for some reason? Or take in a dipping belt.0

Thanks for the suggestions, all.I do weighted dips along with the others mentioned above
I tried the dip station yesterday and can't even manage one with bw right now :blushing: Maybe after I drop a few lbs when I start cutting again0 -
I second overhead tricep extension, I have also seem people take a plate and just hold it with their legs/thighs as they do the dips0

If you want to keep the same sort of movement... a lot of gyms have an assisted dip station (where you kneel on the pad and can adjust the level of resistance with pinloaded weights). You can either use that the conventional way or up the resistance and push the pad down with your hands (ie the same method as you would for bench dips).
I'm not a big fan of bench dips though, I'd rather do a close grip bench press or scull crushers (with barbell ending behind the head, not on top of my face).0 -

I would go with any/some these for tri work. I used to do overhead tricep extensions mainly but as I do not have cables at home, I do skullcrushers and sometimes close grip bench press (when I am not lazy and actually do assist work...)0
