help with my routine

Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can give me...
I currently do strong lifts 3 times a week. My goals are to lose body fat. I spent pretty much all of 2013 lifting weights and eating WAY TOO MUCH...I moved, started a new job...all of the stressful excuses. So I'm up about 15 pounds. Oops. Some of which is muscle...lots of which is fat.
Anyway, I want/need to lose this and have gotten my eating under control. I know what to do there. But it's the exercise I need advice on. Should I just keep going with strength training 3xs a week? I also have kettlebells...I could add in or sub a session? Add in or sub a HIIT session? I feel like I should do some cardio to speed up this fat loss, but maybe I shouldn't? or should i switch to a 3 x 8 program??
I only have about 45 minutes a day to exercise, so would be almost impossible for me to lift then do some short cardio right after, which I think I understand is ideal.
