2 Pan Fried Slices

That is the description on my pack of bacon's nutrition information. Do they assume that you are not eating the fat left in the pan? Should I be logging the fat separately since I cook my eggs and spinach in the left over grease?

I am so glad to read this! I cooked my eggs in the bacon grease this morning and I wasn't sure how to record it either. I was also not sure it was ok to cook my eggs that way so thanks on both accouts!

I use the USDA entry for raw bacon when I'm using all of the bacon grease in a recipe like with sauteed green beans or something. And I use the animal fat entry for when I'm only using some of the grease like when I fry eggs.

Exact name of the entries:
Pork - Cured, bacon, raw
Animal fat - Bacon grease
