Fartless Atkins anyone?

I know this is SUCH an odd thing (and uncomfortable subject for most), but I'm an open book. I've noticed that since changing my diet up & doing the Atkins induction my farts have gone from super stinky & waaaaaay more than should be allowed, to practically non existent.
Now, I've attempted to do some internet research on this, but all I find is people saying that there is something wrong & I could be constipated. I'm not constipated because I'm still having daily bowl movements.
I'm not "overly worried", or really worried enough to go see a doc about this, but I am wondering if I'm alone in this. Is this common for Atkins dieters? Has anyone else noticed a change in their flatulence? Or was it just really weird of me to fart so much before I started dieting. LoL I know, I know...awkward subject. :ohwell:

You are totally ok, and experiencing what others experience on Atkins. If you go to Reddit Keto, you will see a lot of people blogging about exactly what you are saying. Flatulence usually comes from breakdown of carbs, sugars, starches in our gut that is inhabited by lots of micro organisms. As a result, gas is created. Your gut flora is going to change now, so really no worries, you are on the right path.0

Haha, I was just saying this to my boyfriend. When I was eating carbs I was pretty regular with this problem and since I have been doing LCHF I am non-existant. But I also noticed it effects how 'regular' you are.0

I have been on 21 DSD since the 6th & have noticed a difference also. My tummy is also not as bloated. These are good things!0

my "toots' go away also when I do atkins, be sure to not eat a bunch of cheese and keep your protien up,, and you will have normal movements0
