How heavy do you go?

Hello 4 members of the south Yorkshire group. Just started using weights in a body pump class. It's all new to me. I was wanting to know how do you know when you're not pushing yourself enough with the amount of weights. Should I be going for the shaky arms and legs thing or stick with the comfortable easier weight? I felt like a bit of a wimp in class with the lightest weights.

I don't really do weight, I'm a cardio man myself so I don't know! I'd suggest not overfacing yourself and build up gradually so not to cause yourself any injury x0
