I've recently been pouring through "A Guide to Flexible Dieting" by Lyle McDonald - it's available as a download from his bodyrecomposition website. Really, really useful information.0

I love Jillian's podcasts Sami, the woman is so funny, and rude, and clueless, and smart ...
Thanks Mungo, I'll check it out0 -
Found a new podcast that I quite like: Revolution Health Radio with Chris Kressler.
He's got some good ones on cholesterol, menopause and cortisol resistance.
Very interesting.0 -
Steve Troutman's Body Improvement website is really good http://body-improvements.com/resources/eat/
and he also has a group here at MFP called the School of Trout - where he has some great information on newbie weight lifting. It's on his website too, but easier to find here.0 -
Updating this in 2018... Put this on my blog so I could find it easily and thought it would be good here too!
I've been dieting since I turned about 16 and have a history of food addiction and eating disorders. Changing to a ketogenic diet has been a lifesaver for me in the past and I'm giving it another go this year (and forever after) to get my life back on track.
A keto diet is not for everyone but if you are having trouble losing weight, have insulin resistant or type 2 diabetes then it's worth a try. Excellent for re-setting hormones.
Very easy to understand video on WHY a Low Carb diet is good for us. By 2 Australian doctors.
Diet doctor videos - all about keto and low carb. Lots of guest speakers. Main site also has plenty of food plans, recipes and articles. Well worth a visit.
Dr Jason Fung - Intensive Dietary Management blog. Diabetic, Kidney disease, Keto and Fasting specialist. Dr Fung is a nephrologist (kidney specialist) and just wants to see his patients get better.
Dr Jason Fung - interview about his book, The Obesity Code
The Obesity Code podcast - it's like a documentary, not the usual podcast style, but great information
2 Keto Dudes - podcast. Really good information here and plenty of guest speakers. Great to listen to while walking or on the commute to work every day.
Ketogenic forums - so much information here I can't tell you! I can spend hours here looking around the threads.
The cholesterol myth with Jimmy Moore - (contraversial character, can be annoying) he has a good message which is supported by medical science. Cholesterol is not the enemy and statins are not good for 95% of people who are taking them.
Dr Adam Nally (DocMuscles) Blog and videos, mostly good.
Great books and authors (to search podcasts):- Grain Brain - Dr David Perlmutter
- The case against sugar. Why we get fat - Gary Taubes
- The Pioppi Diet - Dr Aseem Malhotra, Cardiologist
- The Fat Revolution - Christine Cronau
- The complete guide to fasting - Dr Jason Fung and Jimmy Moore
