Do you log what you eat before you eat it?

I log my next meal before I eat it to make sure I'm staying within my calorie range of what I want for the meal. Just wondering if anyone else does this too? Seems to help me stay on track instead of having the shock later of what I put in my mouth :huh:

Also changed my diary to go back to what I was told years ago when my doctor wanted me to get off the fad diets and learn to just eat food without the fear. 400 calorie (meals) throughout the day and a 200 calorie fun snack of my choosing. This lets me know the good food is nearby and I don't have to worry about what I can or cant eat. She also told me every time I have a carb have a protein, and exercise 30 mins a day. Saturday or Sunday is my day I have at least one holy crap meal where I eat whatever it was I was craving all week. I learned to make it a Meal-O-Fun and not a Day-O-Fun :)
